Summary:
Directs daily operations of the region to meet the Company goals.
Supervisor: Vice President
Responsibilities:
Set and implement measurable training programs in the following
areas that meet LILC proven standards, i.e. 18 billable days per
month, 2.0 or better job-site quality, minimum 40% gross profit.
I.
Production:
1.
Train area managers in LILC methods to oversee scheduling of
work.
2. Train area managers in meeting budgeted man-hours on site.
3. Train supervisor and crew in all phases of production.
4. Implement and support any assigned tasks as assigned.
II.
Personnel:
1.
Implements training programs on a consistent basis.
2. Approves personnel actions.
3. Performance appraisal of supervisors and employees that measures
quality and production.
4. Promotes a positive, motivated team.
III.
Quality control:
1.
Establish and directs quality control programs within the department
that achieves a 2 rating consistently.
2. Instills Quality Management in region.
3. Troubleshoots all client complaints to ensure that quality
workmanship is being performed and clients are satisfied.
4. Promotes retention of clients, contracts and new business.
IV.
Preventative maintenance:
1.
Assist in implementation of preventive maintenance program that
insure quality care of equipment.
2. Reviews equipment failure to determine corrective or improvement
actions with area managers and shop manager.
V.
Regional sales:
1.
Assists in the sales and bidding of additional site work in
the region. Meet personal sales quota on a monthly basis.
2. Acts as client representative for groundscare sold.
VI.
Working Relationships:
1.
Maintain active contact with staff through daily communication
and meetings with area managers and supervisors. Keeps Vice-
President informed of work status and departmental morale.
VII.
Areas that General Manager and Vice- President will participate
directly with staff.
1.
Oversee monthly operating budget and sales projections and quotas.
2. Oversee additional sales training, estimating and tracking.
3. Oversee departmental direction through goal setting.
4. Oversee weekly management meetings.
5. Oversee departmental image goal.
